Finch Christmas '08

This Christmas was an incredible time to share with family. We were blessed with the opportunity to spend a significant amount of time with both Joy's family as well as mine. On Christmas day we had my parents & my sister's family over to our home for lunch. We even started what I hope to be a new tradition for our Christmas meal, it included: grilled filet mignon, salmon, & shrimp, a strawberry/feta/spinach salad, & potato casserole. Here are a few picks from our pics as we opened presents:

Brennan just learned how to do "peek a boo." It is very cute! And, don't you love the sock monkey! It was a gift from his Nana & Papa.

Chase took time to hone his walking skills by pushing a box all around the house. He was able to take 4 steps on his own--it was quite the accomplishment.

Chase was having the time of his life when my mom was swinging him upside down.

Isn't it funny how kids tend to gravitate towards the gifts that other children receive? Here is Brennan riding his cousin Chase's new tractor.

A Prayer for our Pastors

I composed this picture to give to a few of my pastor friends. It is of Numbers 6:22-23 as the Lord gave this blessing to speak over Aaron & his sons, "The Lord bless you & keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you, and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His countenance on you, & give you peace." 

The Talkingtons

Some of our great friends, Wood & Elizabeth Talkington & their really cool dog, Addie (not sure on the spelling), came by the office last night for their Christmas card photo shoot. I think it turned out wonderful!

The McDonald Christmas Card

My sister Amy, & her husband, Travis, had me design their Christmas card based upon some pictures I took of both of our families. I am excited about how they turned out. Hope you enjoy!

The Wilsons

The Wilson gang stopped by the studio last night & we were able to capture some great photos of the kids for their mom for Christmas (shhhh! It is a surprise!) Pictured from left to right are Rachel, Steven, & Phillip. They are a fun family!

Christmas '08

I was privileged to do my first shoot for Christmas '08. Ashley & Brandon McDonald hired me to take pictures of their daughter, Madison, for their holiday announcement (which I had the pleasure to design--you can see it below). They came by the studio on Monday morning & I wanted to share a few of my favorites with you.
